Inn-Skin was built by two people.

Inn-Skin reads any cosmetic formula in a minute and tells you in plain language what is inside. So you know what you are putting on yourself and feel more confident in every skincare choice. Below: our story, our principles, and the numbers from a year and a half of work.

Inna is the kind of person for whom picking a product is not a purchase, it is a small research session. She remembers the first time she stood in front of twenty products and realised it plainly: either you figure it out yourself, or you trust the packaging designer. She chose to figure it out.

It started with evening reads of cosmetic-chemistry papers and routine cross-checking of her own products against CIR and CosIng. Then a personal index of ingredients with notes. Then it became obvious that no tool existed that explained a formula in human language in under a minute. That is how the idea of Inn-Skin appeared.

On the service she owns the user tone and the editorial filter. If an analysis has to be re-read to make sense, it gets rewritten. If marketing words like "will cure" or "guaranteed to suit" slip into the text, they do not survive to release. Skin is individual, and an adult can make their own decision when they have data, not advertising.

Anton is the tech lead who spent eight years building systems for thousands of people, and at some point wanted to build one for himself.

In large banks he was responsible for investment platforms processing twenty-five thousand contracts a month, and for trading terminals that react to a click faster than a human blinks. Raiffeisen, Tinkoff, Sber, Severstal on the CV. Teams of five senior engineers he grew into tech leads. Internal tech talks, mentoring, ownership of every percent of product stability.

Inn-Skin is a personal continuation of that approach. A service held to the same standards as a product from a major bank: predictable quality, verifiable methodology, measured response time, honest conversation with the user. That is the kind of building he knows and likes.

WHY WE STARTED

Everyone deserves to understand what they put on themselves

  1. Thirty ingredients a day. Latin nobody memorises. Different formulas under the same brand name on the same shelf. That is what an ordinary skincare routine looks like — eyes open, no idea what is inside.

  2. A person at the shelf has two paths. First: trust the packaging — "soothes", "hydrates", "77 active ingredients". Second: spend an evening reading the INCI list, googling every name, and forty minutes later realise half the ingredients are derivatives of the same molecule and only two actives are in a useful concentration. The first path is easier. The second is more useful. People pick the first.

  3. Inn-Skin makes the second path available in a minute. AI reads the formula, breaks it down by INCI, separates real actives from fillers and translates the result into plain language. Not a verdict "safe or unsafe", but specifically: what is inside, why it is there, and whether you need it.

  • Trusting the packaging is not a choice — there is simply no alternative. We show what stands behind "77 actives" and which of them actually work on the skin.

  • When science is silent, we say so directly: not enough data. The decision is always yours — we only light the path.

  • Every analysis is grounded in open scientific sources: PubMed, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), and CosIng. The methodology is open to scrutiny and challenge.
